X-ray uses ionising radiation to create images of bones and internal structures. The area being examined determines the views required. Tell your referring clinician and our team if you are pregnant or may be pregnant.
Dedicated expertise
CCMSU provides digital X-ray imaging with a high-resolution detector. Most studies can be performed standing, depending on the examination. Your referring clinician’s requisition identifies the required views.

Bring your signed referral and health card. Some visits involve little or no waiting; at other times there may be a queue. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

X-ray arrival times
Monday–Thursday: X-ray starts at 8 a.m. Arrive by 4:30 p.m.
Friday: X-ray starts at 8:30 a.m. Arrive by 2 p.m. Service ends at 2:30 p.m.
