A little guidance on companions, results and images before your visit.
Bringing a companion
One family member or friend may join you after the medical portion of your scan is complete, time permitting and at the sonographer’s discretion.
Your examination results
The technologist does not discuss or disclose ultrasound findings, including fetal sex, to patients or companions. Findings are included in the radiologist’s final report.
During your pregnancy ultrasound
About fetal sex
Ultrasound is not always accurate in determining fetal sex. The examination will not be extended or repeated solely to determine it.
Photos, videos and image access
Please do not take photographs or videos during your appointment. Ask our front desk staff about access to your images.
